The only restaurant in the world with a Scott LoBaido American Flag mural on its side. It is on the corner of Main Street and Amboy Road in Tottenville.
Tres Amigos Taqueria is relatively new — and good. Two times recently when driving by I saw a Mexican woman leaving with take out — so that is a sign.
We ate there. The food was great. The margarita’s terrific and pretty ‘stiff’ — aka they don’t cheat you on the alcohol like big eateries.
I had the Grilled Shrimp Fajita — it was AMAZING. The shrimp had that just-off-the-mesquite-grill slightly burnt amazing taste to them.
The wife had the Chicken Fajita and it was great.
Ambiance was really nice. Recommended restaurant.
