Hottest Night Clubs & Bars
- District — in Annadale — younger crowd; good music; outside area you can easily go to; nice setup — true Sports bar. Crazy shit always happens here.
- Kettle Black — on Forest Avenue — very popular; young vibe. Often packed; hard to move.
- Cypress Hall — on Richmond Road — new. Younger crowd.
- Ti Ki Bar at Marina Cafe — PACKED in the summer.
- Richmond Republic — in Great Kills — good for young people but a mostly has a slightly older crowd. Hit or miss; lots of nights where it’s quiet; other nights lively. Very nice place for dinner.
Neighborhood Bars to Consider
- The Coupe — 379 Van Duzer Street in Stapleton Heights — according to MyBartender.com, “A hidden gem. The setting here is moody, almost reminiscent of a modern speakeasy. Cocktails are the specialty here, especially strong drinks using spicy rye whiskey.”
- Joe Broadway’s Billiards & Sports Pub — 2178 Forest Ave in Mariner’s Harbor — according to MyBartender.com, “There are plenty of things to do here, like darts and billiards. It was easy to spend time in this modern but relaxed tap room with delicious food featuring beer from the local Kills Boro Brewery!”
- Mother Pug’s Saloon — 1371 Forest Ave — according to MyBartender.com, “a dive. The dimly lit area and funky decor make this a great place to catch local bands. The relaxed vibe here stood out to me the most, but the bar also has a great selection of beers!”
